Box Prototype: While product development and production design weren’t normally part of my responsibilities, for this particular project, I needed to create a working prototype. (The box needed to deliver flat, but be constructed easily by the end user.)

I created sketches and used existing folding box dielines to help with the initial construction. I then combined that with an auto-bottom box sample template from our factory, to create the final piece. I created the illustration and applied it to the template, and printed it out to begin testing. The production art team helped refine it before the product was sampled and appeared in stores.
